We are incredibly proud to share that Hatherley Lodge, one of our supported care homes in South East London, has received an official rating of ‘Good’ in all areas following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in March and April 2026.
A Well-Deserved Achievement
Achieving a ‘Good’ rating in every category is a significant milestone. The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England, and their inspections assess whether services are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. To be rated ‘Good’ across the board is a testament to the quality of care being delivered at Hatherley Lodge every single day.
The inspection was thorough and demanding, but the Hatherley Lodge team rose to the challenge. Their professionalism, commitment to the people they support, and ability to work together under pressure were clearly evident throughout the process.
Recognising the People Behind the Rating
Behind every CQC report is a team of people who show up, day in and day out, to provide compassionate, consistent, and high-quality care. This result belongs to all of them.
A special mention goes to Mandy and Gemma, whose passion, dedication, and commitment to the people they support was clearly visible to inspectors throughout the process. Their leadership and care are an inspiration to the whole team.
“This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, professionalism, and dedication shown by every member of the team each day.”
What This Means for the People We Support
At Quo Vadis Trust, everything we do is guided by our commitment to Supporting Recovery, Maximising Independence, and Building Community. For the people living at Hatherley Lodge, this rating is more than a number on a report. It means they are living in a place where they are safe, heard, and genuinely cared for.
