What is it?
Our 24 Hours supported accommodations is based in the heart of Lewisham Borough and offers support to people suffering from mental health and complex needs. Staff are present 24hrs a day. We offer a house share with appropriate support. How much support and what type of support varies accordingly to the person’s needs and we aim to help our clients to maintain a tenancy, identify their strengths and goals, develop increased self-esteem, self-worth and confidence, and to integrate into their local community.
Support
We use person-centred planning tools to help identify with individuals what support they want in order to achieve their ambitions and goals. The support can include:
- Holistic wellbeing
- Developing social networks
- Accessing Education, Training, Employment and Volunteering
- Enhancing people’s confidence
- Help with skills needed to maintain a tenancy (paperwork, budgeting, environment, health and safety)
- Emotional support
Criteria
- Be over 18 years of age
- Have a local connection with Lewisham
- Be in receipt of one of the following benefits: ESA, PIP, UC
- Be eligible for full Housing Benefit
- Having medium to high support needs
