We’re delighted to announce that Quo Vadis Trust has been shortlisted for the UK-wide Charity Governance Awards 2022! We are in the running for the ‘COVID-Response: Embracing Opportunity and Harnessing Risk for Long-Term Change’ category award, which comes with a £5,000 unrestricted grant. We are one of 16 charities from across the UK that has already secured £1,000 in unrestricted grant funding for making it onto the shortlist.
Quo Vadis Trust joins other nominated charities engaged in a diverse range of activities including employment for refugees; housing and assistance for people with mental health needs; education and support for disadvantaged children in the UK and abroad; help for female sex workers; and a women’s theatre group working in prisons and the community.
A place on the shortlist has also secured each of the charities a paid one-year membership of the Association of Chairs for their board, and a complimentary training place on a Cause4 Trustee Leadership Programme for new members of their boards.
QVT CEO, Ingrid Tennessee, says: “I am extremely pleased that we have been shortlisted for this Governance award! It is evidence of the excellent support and input offered by our Board of Trustees. A huge thank you from all of us here at QVT for their commitment and dedication, as we continue to collaborate in serving those who come to our charity for support”
The winners will be announced on 26 May at a live ceremony from Clothworkers’ Hall in London- so watch this space!
