We’d like to congratulate Quo Vadis Trust’s very own CEO, Ingrid Tennessee, for coming runner up and ‘Highly Commended’ at the highly prestigious ‘Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care’ awards! The purpose of WAGS is to create an informal forum of women leaders from all areas of social care. Through campaigns and a programme of networking and social events WAGS brings together women leaders who work in all areas of social care, in all job roles, creating a movement to inspire women leaders of tomorrow and providing a platform for support, empowerment and real change for the sector. This unique initiative culminated in these Gala Awards which celebrates the achievements of women in social care.

Ingrid was nominated in the ‘The Social Care Change Agent’ category, with this award recognising women that have positively influenced change, leading to a meaningful impact for the sector and/or for people in receipt of services, either at a local or national level.
The judging panel had this to say about Ingrid:
“With 23 years in social care to her name, Ingrid has influenced the lives of many during her career. Now the CEO of QVT, she dedicates her time to helping vulnerable adults in South-East London and specialises in mental health. Forward thinking, she has also successfully transformed QVT as an enterprise and accrued an excellent reputation for the company. Not just a CEO, she is a true agent of change in social care”
What a fantastic achievement- congratulations, Ingrid!
