Last Friday, QVT held its second Bikeathon event – and what a day it was!
Colleagues came together to pedal, raffle and guess their way to raising vital funds for the QVT Benevolent Fund, a resource close to the hearts of everyone across the organisation.
Alongside the cycling challenge, the day featured a raffle and a “guess the sweets in the jar” competition – bringing some friendly rivalry, plenty of laughter, and meaningful contributions to a fund that makes a real difference.

What is the QVT Benevolent Fund?
The QVT Benevolent Fund exists to provide financial and practical help to team members who are facing hardship. Life can be unpredictable – whether that is personal or family illness, the pressures of supporting a loved one, navigating mental health difficulties, or other unexpected challenges. The fund is there to help when times get tough.
Through the generosity of donations raised at events like the Bikeathon, QVT is able to offer grants and financial assistance to team members who need it most. It is a practical expression of one of QVT’s most important values: that we look after each other.

A community that cares
The Bikeathon is more than a fundraiser. It is a reminder that the same compassion QVT brings to supporting clients and residents is also directed inward – towards the people who make that work possible every day.

Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, guessed (correctly or not!), and helped make the day such a success. Here’s to the third Bikeathon already!
