Elmwood Lodge
At Elmwood Lodge the staff team and volunteers offer core services alongside a choice of activities which stimulate and promote holistic wellbeing. Activities are home-based, out in the community and wider afield. As residents’ health improves and they become more independent, they are linked into organisations that run support groups in the community, such as Mind (Bexley).
A Place of Their Own
Clients have their own rooms and are supported in a homely, personalised environment. They are encouraged to decorate their rooms so that they really feel at home. Their privacy is maintained at all times. They are encouraged to eat and drink suitable healthy foods and participate in weekly meal planning meetings Staff accompany clients to medical appointments and ensure that they meet their healthcare, working with other health and social care professionals in order to achieve the best outcomes for the clients.
Maintaining Standards
The last Care Quality Commission inspection took place in May 2019, and Elmwood Lodge received a rating of Good. Our last IPC (Infection Prevention & Control) inspection took place in Feb 2021. A copy of the CQC report can be found here.
