December has been a month of connection, reflection and appreciation across Quo Vadis Trust, with two special moments that brought our charity’s community even closer together.
Festive Lunches Across QVT
Throughout the week, clients, team members and volunteers came together for festive lunches and seasonal celebrations. These gatherings offered a relaxed space for everyone to share a meal, enjoy conversations and take a moment to connect before the holidays.
The atmosphere across our services has been full of warmth and cheer, and it has been wonderful to see so many smiles. We are hugely grateful to the staff and volunteers who helped organise these celebrations. Their support ensures that our clients feel valued and included, especially at this time of year.
Honouring QVT Managers and Leaders
The Senior Team also hosted a special end-of-year appreciation get-together to recognise the commitment and leadership shown by our leaders and managers across QVT.
This gathering was an opportunity to pause and reflect on the hard work, compassion and professionalism that they bring to their roles every day. Their leadership is central to creating safe, supportive environments where our clients can thrive. Celebrating their efforts together felt like a fitting way to close out the year.
Celebrating Outstanding Contributions
As part of the appreciation event, several team members were honoured with special awards recognising their exceptional dedication throughout the year.
- Semin received the Employee Recognition Award, presented by our CEO, Ingrid.
- Martin was celebrated with the Team of the Year Award for outstanding collaborative impact.
- Ben was recognised as Character of the Year, celebrating positivity and spirit within the organisation.
- Lucy received the prestigious QVT Above and Beyond Award, acknowledging her remarkable commitment and support across the charity.
These awards highlight the incredible people who help make QVT the supportive, compassionate community it is.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Greg Micallef from GMA, who provides QVT’s IT services. Greg’s generous donations and continued support during the Christmas season are deeply appreciated by everyone at QVT.

As 2026 approaches, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who makes QVT a place of safety, support and growth: our clients, team, volunteers, managers and trustees. Each person plays a vital role in our charity and we would be lost without them.
