Carstairs is a large detached house just off Bromley Road, comprising six en-suite units.
The property has just undergone a total refurbishment to a high standard. There is a large garden to the rear and 2 parking spaces on the front drive. The property is served by the 136, 284, 208, 199 and No. 54 Buses. It is 10 minutes’ walk to Bellingham Station.
Clients will be supported by a Supported Housing Officer based in the onsite office Monday to Friday for three hours a day (excluding Bank Holidays). They will offer enhanced housing management services, e.g. tenancy sustainment, benefit applications, budgeting and payment of tenancy related bills. Staff are able to signpost clients to other relevant agencies that do not relate to housing management and to assist them with carrying out the tasks associated with living in a communal home environment and in maintaining their tenancy.
All clients throughout QVT have telephone access to our 24-hour scheme at Verdant Lane (SE6) where there are staff on duty who can assist with any queries or concerns that may arise day or night and offer verbal support or, if necessary, arrange for face to face contact. There is also an out-of-hours on call manager to assist and support staff and clients in times of urgency.
