“Dear Friends and Supporters of Quo Vadis Trust,
As the festive season unfolds and we gather with loved ones to celebrate the warmth of togetherness, I am filled with gratitude and reflection on the incredible journey we’ve embarked upon at Quo Vadis Trust throughout 2023. In the spirit of the season, I extend my warmest seasonal greetings to each and every one of you.
This year has been a testament to the resilience and strength of our community. In the face of unprecedented challenges, our collective commitment to supporting those living with mental health issues has not wavered. Together, we’ve created a haven of understanding, compassion, and empowerment here in South London – a place where individuals find solace, regain their footing, and embrace the hope for a brighter future.
Looking back on the past twelve months, I am immensely proud of the strides we’ve made. Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to provide safe and supportive housing, fostering an environment where individuals can not only address their mental health challenges but also build the foundations for lasting recovery. The stories of transformation and triumph we’ve witnessed are the true embodiment of the holiday spirit, reminding us all that, even in the darkest times, there is a beacon of light within each of us. We have been supporting clients aged over 18 with a holistic approach , whether it is living with mental health challenges , or any other personal circumstances which place them at a disadvantage when it comes to achieving their life potential.
As we approach the dawn of 2024, I am thrilled to share our plans for the upcoming year. Quo Vadis Trust is committed to expanding our impact and reach, and one exciting initiative we are proud to introduce is the launch of the expansion of our ‘care leavers’ scheme. This program aims to extend our support to young individuals transitioning from the care system, providing them with a nurturing and stable environment as they embark on their journey to independence. We believe that every individual deserves the chance to flourish, and through this initiative, we hope to empower these young souls to create a future filled with promise.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our community, volunteers, trustees and donors. Your generosity has been the driving force behind our success, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. As we celebrate the joy of the festive season and anticipate the opportunities that the New Year holds, let us continue to stand united in our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
May this holiday season be filled with love, joy, and moments of reflection on the positive impact we’ve collectively made. I wish you and your loved ones a happy festive period and a New Year filled with hope, resilience, and the promise of brighter tomorrows.”
With warm regards,
Ingrid Tennessee
