At Quo Vadis Trust, we know that our work wouldn’t be possible without the compassion, commitment and time given so generously by our volunteers. That’s why, the other Friday, we were delighted to host a special event dedicated to recognising and celebrating our incredible volunteer community.

The event was packed with activities aimed at showing our appreciation. Highlights of the day included a lively awards ceremony, honouring individual contributions, a delicious shared lunch, fun quizzes and games, a beautiful art gallery showcase created by those we support, and a calming guided meditation session to round off the day. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to connect, reflect and enjoy themselves in the sunshine – and, most importantly, to say thank you.

Volunteers are the backbone of our charity. Whether it’s lending a listening ear, helping with day-to-day activities, or supporting creative and wellbeing initiatives, their presence makes a real and lasting difference in the lives of the clients that we support.

Volunteering isn’t just about giving – it’s also about gaining. Many volunteers tell us how rewarding the experience is, from building new skills and boosting confidence, right through to meeting new people and gaining insight into mental health support. It’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger and to make a meaningful impact in the community.

We are deeply grateful to every person who contributes their time and energy to QVT. You help us deliver our mission every single day, and your support is truly invaluable!
