Wellness Housing Officers are on site between 10:00am and 1:00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). They offer enhanced housing management services, e.g. tenancy sustainment, benefits advice, budgeting and payment of tenancy related bills. They also signpost clients to other relevant agencies that do not relate to housing management and assist them with carrying out tasks associated with living in a communal home environment and in maintaining holistic wellbeing.
All clients throughout QVT have telephone access to our 24-hour scheme at Verdant Lane (SE6), where there are staff on duty who can assist with any queries or concerns that may arise day or night and offer verbal support or, if necessary, arrange for face to face contact. There is also an out-of-hours on call manager to assist and support staff and clients in times of urgency.
Brockley Lodge offers supportive ‘family style’ accommodation with an emphasis on ‘normal living’. Each member of the household has their own comfortable room and shares the communal areas including the lounge, two well-equipped kitchens, three toilets, several bathrooms, showers, and mature gardens at the front and rear of the property.
Bedrooms are equipped with a single bed, bedside table, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. There is a comfortable lounge on the ground floor furnished with sofas and chairs. It also has an area designed for sitting and dining by the window overlooking the rear garden. Television facilities are available for client use, as is a computer with full internet access. A payphone is located in the hallway on the ground floor.
