What we’ve been up to lately… June/July 2019

It’s been a busy month here at the Quo Vadis Trust!

We always have a huge array of events and social opportunities for our clients to take part in, run by our hard-working volunteers, but over the past month or so we’ve been particularly busy and have managed to capture on camera some of what we’ve been up to:

Clients from Elmwood Lodge and Verdant Lane recently enjoyed a trip to the seaside at Whitstable.

Clients from Elmwood Lodge had a day out visiting Second Chance Animal Rescue in Kent. Spending times with animals and/or animal therapy is well known for aiding mental health recovery and improving general well-being.

We finished our garden project at Elsiemaud House with the help of both clients and volunteers – it looks absolutely fantastic and is now such a blooming beautiful space!

Art therapy workshops were run for our clients, and we uncovered some serious talent! Most importantly these sessions are therapeutic and enjoyable, and both clients and volunteers alike get so much out of them.

We hosted lunches and a BBQ for our Elmwood Lodge residents, providing a safe and friendly environment to relax and socialise.

A few of our clients enjoyed tending to the garden at Quo Vadis Trust HQ- we’re hoping this glorious weather continues so we can continue with some more gardening projects and workshops.

We’re looking forward to some more events, and will showing some snippets here on our website, as well as over on our Twitter and Facebook channels.
