Mental Health Awareness Week 14th-20th May 2018

For Mental Health Awareness Week 2018 the focus is on stress. Mental Health Foundation have written a report that looks at the prevalence of stress in the UK and its implications.

It also focuses on what we can do to manage and reduce stress and our recommendations for the government in creating a stress-free UK. To download the report please go to:

Stress is not a mental health problem in itself but it is a key cause of mental health problems like depression and anxiety and is often linked to self-harm and suicide. Stress is also known to lead to physical health problems like muscle and joint pain and cardiovascular problems.
