Wellness Housing Officers offer dedicated input through fortnightly visits or phone calls to ensure that the client is sustaining holistic wellbeing and independence. Whilst respecting the individual’s need for autonomy, they input into various areas in which the client may require support, for example liaising, mediating or advocating with medical, social or other services. The level of support offered and given is agreed between the client and the WHO, and this is flexible depending on the level of wellness.
Clients are expected to maintain their property to a high standard. We depend on the client to report any maintenance issues and we work hard with our maintenance team to effectively remedy such issues.
Geoffrey Road provides each client with a self-contained individual studio-style living space which includes a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchenette. The flats are fully furnished, comfortable and spacious. Each has a bed, bedside table, wardrobe, and chest of drawers with a choice of furnishings.
There are local amenities and a variety of small shops close by to meet clients’ everyday needs, and the area is well served by buses and trains.
