A Wellness Housing Officer is on site between 10:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday (exc. Bank Holidays). We offer a holistic recovery-based service at this scheme e.g. tenancy sustainment, benefits advice, budgeting and input to liaison and mediation with utility companies. We support planning to work towards achievement of self-assigned goals, as directed by the client. Clients are also assisted with other tasks associated with living in a communal home environment and in maintaining overall wellbeing. Advice and guidance forms part of the service delivery in signposting and accompanying clients to relevant agencies where support is needed to access specialist services.

All clients throughout QVT have telephone access to our 24hr scheme at Verdant Lane (SE6) where there are staff on duty who can assist with any queries or concerns that may arise day or night and offer verbal support. This telephone support can also be followed up with a visit if needed. There is also an out-of-hours on call manager to assist and support staff and clients in times of emergency.

Portland Road offers supportive accommodation with an emphasis on ‘normal living’. Each member of the household has their own comfortable self-contained studio flat, equipped with a single bed, bedside table, wardrobe and chest of drawers, as well as fridge, microwave and en-suite facilities. The communal area includes a spacious lounge with television facilities, a well-equipped kitchen and a well-tended garden at the rear of the property.
