About us:

Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) is a small charity in South East London. We provide housing to people with mental health issues. QVT currently provides homes to approximately one hundred and fifty people in South East London. Our range of supported housing helps each individual client to maximise their independence and enhance their recovery.

Job purpose:

At QVT the wellbeing of our clients is of the utmost importance, which is why, as Maintenance Technician you will undertake multi-trade tasks in occupied properties, and complete such tasks to a high quality with no defects. You will communicate any issues to stakeholders effectively and promptly, and travel to recognised QVT suppliers to collect any required materials and equipment. You will liaise with occupiers of designated properties in order to ensure client satisfaction.

About you:

To be considered for the Maintenance Technician role you must have demonstrable experience of providing maintenance work across a variety of premises. In addition the following key skills and experience are applicable:

  • Possesses a current and valid full & clean UK Driving Licence, and able to drive a manual transmission Transit type van (Access to company vehicle included with this post)
  • Demonstrable customer service experience
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with Microsoft packages and able to input job data
  • Previous site-based experience
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Good, clear, verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Basic Plumbing, carpentry and electrical skills
  • Has Enhanced DBS clearance
